I love pokemon! I remember when I was a little kid I had a game boy color and played pokemon constantly. My first pokemon game I owned was pokemon Yellow. It's probably my favorite version because you can have all three main starters and Pikachu! I love pokemon so much if I had a Nintendo dsi I would only play pokemon because it's an amazing rpg.
Everyone knew what pokemon was when I was in elementary school. I collected the cards as well but never knew how to play the card game lol. I loved the way they evolved into bigger and better monsters. Having Charizard , Blastoise, and Venusaur was amazing they were so powerful. I didnt like how Pikachu couldn't evolve I didnt have him in my party cause he got beat up to easily. My main party was Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Zapdos, Mewtwo, and Pidgeot.
When Silver came out I wanted it for Christmas so bad and I was anxious to play it. Christmas eve I opened one of my presents guessing which one had Silver. I chose the wrong one and had to wait till the next day. I kept asking my mom is I could open the rest of them and eventually she gave in and said yes. I opened all my presents and sadly it wasnt there. I was upset and went to my room not caring about the other stuff I got. Then later my mom came in and gave me a present and I was like could it be! It was it was Silver version and a pokemon hat.
I put Silver in right away and started play I was so excited. New world, new pokemon, and new people how couldnt I be excited. I chose the water pokemon totodile. I always choose the water pokemon because I believe it can beat the fire and grass starters. How can you beat the grass pokemon if yours ia water you may ask? I teach my water pokemon ice moves which grass pokemon are weak too. The story was great you had to defeat 8 gym leaders to get badges to get into the pokemon to be the very best pokemon trainer. Also there was your rival Gary in yellow version which wanted to be the best as well so you had competition. The theme song was awesome as well it made me wanted to be the best there ever was.
